We Offer A Flexible Programme Of Support To Improve The Personal Health And Wellbeing Of Carers Of Adults With A Mental Health Issue

Our support workers can help you access training and information opportunities on a range of subjects including:Mental illness diagnoses

  • Making sense of the benefits system
  • New skills to help you in your caring role
  • Help and support with Carers Assessments
  • Advocacy if you would like someone to go with you to meetings or to speak on your behalf
  • Peer support groups – an opportunity for you to meet other carers with similar experiences
  • Help/advice for benefits applications
  • Information about other organisations and services that may help you and the person you care for
  • Support with employment issues for working carers
  • Help to access funding for educational opportunities

 

Carers Of Young People and Adults with Eating Disorders

We run two support groups each month - one in Chichester and one in Haywards Heath.
